GRAB A LEG AND GROWL Grab a perky turkey, one that’s rather quirky filet him into jerky and dry him on a rack. He’ll last for many hours of hiking over flowers blanketed with showers of snowflakes in a drift. Then, when it’s Thanksgiving, you’ll be glad that you are living and annually reliving post the Mayflower Compact. With corn raised under fish and yams served in a dish and a bone with which to wish, your turkey’s bound to please. Oh, yes, take your quirky turkey, the one I said was perky, dry him up as seasoned jerky, and, Friend, now take a hike! I hope I don’t sound rude when I speak of turkey food you must admit, Sweet Dude, it’s better than chicken scratch. ©November 24, 2004 HAPPY TURKEY DAY! Whether on the shoal or on the shore, I'll seek the lighthouse evermore. |

hehe- Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
