Hiking in the summer rain I hear voices once again, feelings crowd my soul when I leave town. Dare I forget so easily what Cupid's arrows did for me though I'm over them they still linger now. Walkin in the heat and wet I can't forget with no regrets Voices in the rain Between the drops I hear their pain in promises never vowed. What's done is done but still I feel deeper wounds that never heal and there's no easy cure for them but time. So once again I'm on my way after all I never stay runnin from a love I'm holdin deep inside Walkin in the heat and wet I can't forget with no regrets There's voices in the rain Between the drops I hear their pain in promises never vowed.
