stars wet with sand you are here, inside me you do not scurry like the storm i see in your eyes, no you cast-out the shadowy leaves the mid-night hours to bring me sunrise and long syrupy kisses in dreams and the coming winter does not know your name as it does mine for you were born of summer a flight of doves in song and i of mourning and i can love you only with the pull of setting sun with stars wet with sand and my eyes like autumn crumbling in leaf. into this night i wonder, it's morning that i dread, another day of knowing of, the path i fear to tread. ~Sarah McLachlan~ [This message has been edited by Dark Angel (11-20-2004 12:31 AM).] |

There is just something intangible yet unmistakable in your writing that speaks to me - many times softly, like a whisper. Perhaps its the soothing, sultry tone of your writes waltzing with unparalleled cinematic imagery that grips me firmly within your words and does not let go even after I've left the page. I don't remember the words. I can't memorize a thing, it seems. But the feeling I walk away with is a result of your inspiring gift of poetry. You are ever the shining star here. Beautiful writing. And, thanks for the sweet, inviting reply to my last post. Not my greatest but sometimes they just come out the way the come out, don't they? Thanks for this piece tonight. It's good to be back in the mix with such gifted people. Your poetic friend in awe...again, Kevin |

what the moth said.... and I seriously doubt the opinion you hold of my own meager talent is justified ma'am.... one only has to read a few of the offering you place here and see where the true talent is.. |
