The Stew
My stew is brewing in a pot It’s full of seasoning allot Pepper salt and even thyme And most of all it’s full of time.
A constant simmer at the edge Imprudence that each day I pledge All cook within an atmosphere Of pleasure, sorrow and of fear
I eat a bit of it each day It feeds me on my journeys way It fills my mind with shadows call In winter summer and in fall
And visitors that dine with me Are voyagers I pass at sea? We pass across horizons news Some sing joy and some sing blues
And though we cross in different wend Each sets their course a different end

and best of all its seasoned with wisdom's rhyme!! You cook and I'll do the dishes...Randy can sweep up...then we'll have tea by the sea.
*ww* when you walked into the room it felt like time was standing still. and I felt fascination...then my heart gave me away.

The homemade recipes are always the best and I would bet your cook book is written in golden ink. Always enjoy your insight sir.

Sir Sy, I missed tea and crumpets this morning, but thankfully I decided to check in before lunch and I'm so glad I did. You mix up a wonderfully delightful 'Stew.' I'm honored to be one to dine with you.

Me thinks this line "And most of all it’s full of time: Really should be: "And most of all it’s full of rhyme"
You sure serve a mean rhyme stew, Yes, you do Sy, yes you do. I sit dipping a piece of bread, In your words until its read.
