day 249 nonsense Half the frosting is what she said I recalled when I went to bed A day too long pursuing chores yet could not find the gift of snores I lay awake most half the night interrupted by dreams of fright Lost my amulet so I thought left me angered and then distraught The pain came sharp then followed dull crashed a rock with my fragile hull Cat meowed in faint protest when I disturbed in my unrest She says I'm future not the past then wonders out loud could it last My sight blurring my head in nod through dictionary pages plod What is this pen but words in case scribble in ink do not erase I'll end this silly ramble now nothing more than an old dead cow. |

Krawdad, as far as this reader is concerned? that pen of yours is welcome to assist you in rambling every day. Love this daily journal approach. |
