I write in themes at a time and keep it all for years I suppose, for at that time it was maybe too raw in my mind and if I stop to work each one out nothing gets written so I mind dump and work on them as individual poems until I hit the right frame of mind and they come together.

Often you will see a poem from me that have elements you have seen as poems in their own right.

I cant claim this is more than another journey in words.

Dave

****************************************

Flittering lace you flitter a spectrum of movable colour emphasising
Some inner sense why
Within your head demanding obscurity for ignorance of your mind
Echoing colour you desire
Unmoving controlling absurdity beckoning
You flutter your life
A canvas of hearts
Beckoning parts
Headless
Of desire
Dancing body by body
Silk by silk
Movement by movement
Head by head
Hair by mouth
Smell of want
Electric insatiable desire

I look into your face
I look into your eyes
Your eyes shine to me
Your lips are wet
My tongue is dry
I look at the black behind you
The wind gently moves your hair
Your eyes deep like moons
The trees bow for you
As you move
Your dress is light
It moves with your body
My heart clings to my words
I look into your eyes
And see nothing

The beach is hot
The water cold
We miss lunch
I drink too much
You watch everything
The trees are bare
No leaves anywhere
I look for your eyes
The birch is silver
I shiver
I look into a station
I see you
On vacation

I wash in the rain
Your tempest rules again
Your voice is lost in the night
For all to see
And freedom was its gift to me
In my heart magic sparkling eyes wept
In my mind a clock strove to chime
Alarms to bring nature to reality
Tried by time
Sentenced by cowardice
Executed by fear
And escape

I face you on a bad day
I face the green
For you have the life
I come to you to bring me life
I sit before you have the time
I await the wind, the cleansing rhyme
I face you, as I should
With the wind crescendo
I face you

No one in this life knows
Your innermost thoughts
You are to them
A game
For me
You bring a feeling of strength
You bring the past
You tell me of the future
You give me peace at last

You are called love
And like a hungry man
I dream of my repast

Thanks

It works on if only I could pay off the mortgage, get rid of the debts and spend my life on poetry.

Reality doesn't allow that, and I am sorry in a way that words I write end up getting crushed or left but maybe they weren't right and maybe I need to develop so they display the vision I felt I had when I wrote them.

In the meantime life goes on for those lucky enough and I always thank Piptalk for allowing me to write.

In the UK I would not have the freedom to write and interact as we do.

regards

Dave
