I tossed them Now āSā shaped in neglect till they Resembled gnarled drawings of stem From charcoal sketch of what should have been Colors Vibrant with hues of blush Like your shoulder when I watched the dress Slip off them and to the floor The vase is empty my love And I have found the space no comfort Against sharp pointed crystal and light One long night I dreamed Of fingers hushed against my lips As the rest of me found sound Playing straddled notes So low that I in subtle exhale Left my own bass on the scale Crosshatched on the glass of us And refracting light on roses Still fresh then Darkness adds comfort to eyes That hide the ghosts of then Today my love I threw out the stems And thought as I turned my head I saw you standing there Bared to me Again |

Ron Sometimes you have to throw things away in order to see what you have. Wonderful writing again, my friend! |

Your title is incredibly descriptive! I know that key... I believe F is the note by which alarm clocks shrilly awake us. One of my old cars buzzed on F when the seatbelt didn't work right--oh, the discomfort... Fine writing, cpat. (I am wondering how this name came about! Everytime I write it, I have to do a double take so I don't misspell it. At first I thought it was the abbreviation for captain. Then I realized no. Laugh as you may, but to remember its spelling I have to think to myself "c cat run" (OLd Dick and Jane reading series!) Then I switch the c for a p! Would you let us in on how you came about the name? |

Ron, Thanks for the explanation... I'm still dyslexic! Truly, probably am, especially when I'm tired! An old poem of mine: **This is written about myself in good humor (or poor as that may be) about my typo's and spelling mistakes! My Spelling Airers Yearing, her spelling erred She mirrored wards back and homophones forth adding interest to decipher. As her dear beloved friend, I told her Weed keep the writing pu, But she just looked at me and said, "You've gotta be joking, Sadie, time to hang it up!" Sew words like clothes, we hung them up under clothes-hook's springing tension and erred them out online. (Hopefully, this poem will be the last spelling error i make for a wile!) |

One long night I dreamed Of fingers hushed against my lips As the rest of me found sound Playing straddled notes So low that I in subtle exhale Left my own bass on the scale Crosshatched on the glass of us And refracting light on roses ~*~ ummmmhummmm..... |

How can you deny the moth and the trees. lol I would love to live as a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding. |
