![]() Picture by Josephine Wall * * * I do believe in karma What you give you will receive There is a higher power And that's love, I do believe Life is what you make of it You are responsible for each choice You must make a conscious decision And listen to your heart's voice Show kindness and compassion Follow your heart and soul Set yourself a challenge And score more than just one goal Don't believe in the word 'never' You can do it if you try Strive to be a great achiever And reach further than the sky Turn negatives into positives In yourself, you must believe The gift of love is priceless To give is to receive * * * "The source of love is deep in us and we can help others realise a lot of happiness One word, one action, one thought, can reduce another person's suffering and bring that person joy" I am in motion |

"Life is what you make of it You are responsible for each choice You must make a conscious decision And listen to your heart's voice" Yes it is inspiring, and I try to listen to my heart's voice, but that isn't always that easy. ~Broken~ "Base not your joy upon the deeds of others, for what is given can be taken away." |

Sue! This is so encouraging... I really love this verse... "Turn negatives into positives In yourself, you must believe The gift of love is priceless To give is to receive" This piece of work reminds me of a discussion with my friend revolving around the serenity prayer. I'm not a Christian but i quote this - "God grant me the serenity to accept things I cannot change, the courage to change things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." My point was how do I know if I could leave things up to fate, or do I have the power to change my destiny? Is it not a chore to question the reason of each choice I make? Is that my decision? Or was my decision pre-destined? But if I do not make a conscious choice, will my life still go on as it does? That kinda sounds likes Matrix, right? Haha... Anywayz, this is my 3 cents worth. Hope it was of interest. ![]() _,,,^.^,,,_ |
