A velvet cape bejeweled In moonlight frosting pooled By chin poised stilt to knee As far as I can see Serene an octave up The future fills my cup Autonomous pre-empt To forage meadows dreamt A wish is kindled fuel Itself a precious jewel Aurora guides the skies To bless my weary eyes Uncertain and unclear I face the shadows here Lit match ignites the blaze Equivalent in praise Copyright Kkh 7/27/04 |
