-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I took her out today; from the racks of storage where she waits for days like these, as i get to wear her face again freshened with generic paint, nothing abrasive, intrusive, or inflicting pain; carefull not to offend, just let her smile a happy face grin, i took her out today; her cookie cutter complacency docile ,sqeaky clean, depersonalized as a form letter, surely she'd be the better me to fit in life's formalities like these; i took her out today; shes coverup for the superficialities of piercings and skin that's inked, to the plagues of childhood shame and later day sins of adultery, among other maladies of a taintedflowergirl like me; i took her out today; to impress a bunch of bible fearing hypocrits wearing the red white and blue badge of americana that surely have their own share of imperfections in their own personas, i took her out today; and felt sorry for the kent state 4 and the columbines and the castrated minds of kindergarten rebels that dared to color cows outside their natural lines and wondered if the world could truly ever be at peace????????????????????????????????? |

A theme of rough edges, truthful, rebelious Just like I like 'em... When people chastize others, I know they are hiding their private lives behind curtains. In the company of these I become Tonto, by imagination, peek behind their masks And find they don't have the pure integrity Or morals of the Lone Ranger. Well done, Inky enjoyed the read -------ice ><> |
