I have rings around my tail, And a mask around my eyes. I may look like a bandit, But it's only a disguise. I love to dine on mollusks, My claws are very strong. My teeth are razor sharp, And my tail is very long. My eyes are black and beady, I have a pointed nose. And I can smell anything, From a froggy to a rose. ~*~ Hi, my name is Ricky! I'm Ricky the Raccoon. I like to roam the roads at night, And sleep all afternoon! |

Tee hee. When we lived on the mountain, at times Racoons would come up on the deck and we'd watch them in their curiosity. Nice memory, thanks  Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Heheheheheheheh! Linda, you brought back memories of three little "bandits" we had in a maple tree when we were kids. They were babies who lost there mama I think, and we became good buddies. There names were Ennie, Meanie and Moe......so cute, they were, like your poem! .....lily |

A very cute and clever write gal.... I'm a bandit too...cleverly disguised as a big Toe with my wrap around mask...then I open my mouth or scan my pen....and my cover's blown.....everyone knows who I am......sigh... |
