Tarnished Angel for the mucky ones and those who know me I’m just a tarnished angel Whose halo’s slipped a bit I’ve tried to do much better But I haven’t managed it I’ve not very good In fact I’m rather bad Not from evil deeds It’s all the men I’ve had I’m just a tarnished angel Whose wings are rather bare With feathers moulting here And others falling there Other angels laugh at me They say I look a sight But they don’t get the fun I have Almost every night I’m just a tarnished angel I don’t think I’ll ever fly Only the shinning angels Soar aloft up in the sky The fact is I’m rather grubby With smudges on my face I’ve tried to clean them off But I am just a sad disgrace I’m just a tarnished angel And here I’ll always be My one and only virtue Is you look great compared to me Marsha Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds |

Seems to me the tarnished angels are to ones who really know how to LIVE, besides it's nothing that a bit of spit and Polish couldn't sort out.  Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |
