It is true, some men are not nice, far from it. But the same is said of women. And so, I just want to jump up and express my support . . . how?With really bad poetry that was a lot of fun to write  Men Some say Women are from Venus And Men are from Mars I say . . . Go Martians. I love men. Tall, short, lean, not so lean It don’t matter to me Men are meant to be men And that’s what I like about ‘em Strong, hearty, tough Tender, kind, considerate Heart of a warrior Soul of a poet And yes, sometimes pig-headed But then again, aren’t we all? Yes, you’ve got your bad apples And often they don’t fall far from the tree But there is the pick of the crop too And often the crop is full of bounty Ah, yes, Men I am blessed with a full harvest From a fab Dad To five fantabulous brothers A husband-- my lover Friends a plenty And one terrific teacher who is unlike any other And without men How then could we be women? Ah yes, Men I love men s.a.t. Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

lol. me too. I don't think they get enough credit sometimes. I remember my grandma fiercly defending men, that they should be allowed to be men - not jerks - rather men (she was the mama of four boys) |

Careful Susan, The battle of the sexes might end if all of us (men and women) (Martians and Venutians) thought alike or appreciated each other as well as you have said it all... I am happy you have such peace in your life with the opposite sex that is truly sometimes quite pigheaded..... |

Ah, but Kaile, it is true. My dearest friend and mentor, my MA instructor is a blackbelt in Modern Arnis, a master instructor in Bowie and big blade combat, a master firearms instructor as well as an ex- cop and he writes poetry. He has a most beautiful soul. So you see, it is not too much. But one or the other is fine too. SusanHappiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.
