A Kiss

A kiss can be a complicated expression of friendship or love,
And like the room of a child with many, many mirrors
The facets are infinitely beautiful and sweet.
But sometimes the most passionate of kisses can be unforgiving,
When the heart has strayed to seduce another---
How sadder still, the ones who have earned this kiss
Who patiently wait with lips tasting of salt
From tears that run and run.
