Watching and Waiting I watched a shadow run its call Reaching out in life’s befall Stretching in the time of day Outward in a long display And when it reached the waters edge It dove beneath the swift of dredge Until it reached the other side Where time and light cut off its stride It’s like all things that lives its prime To begin again another time A lesson for our sense of range To take away the feel of strange But yet the lesson does not set And haunts the mind of more beget And runs its call beyond the fall To shadows of a different call It base within a rainbows goal A place that’s called our inner soul |

Another keeper for my library of Sy... this also reminds me of something, the moth will be back *ww* I would love to live as a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding. |

I'd forget about those shadows and keep your eye on the rainbows! They are full of life, light, and brighten up your world! Shadows begone! Sending you a magnificent, shimmering raibow of translucent colours to grace your days! ~ and twinkling stars and a smiling moon to grace your nights. Play well, sleep well ~ in Light Divine! Angel blessings, EA |

In the slanting sun of late afternoon the shadows of great branches reached from across the river, and the trees took the river in their arms. The shadows continued up the bank, until they included us. ~Norman Maclean~ "A River Runs Through It" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It’s like all things that lives its prime To begin again another time A lesson for our sense of range To take away the feel of strange ~Sy~ |

Bravo, brava...to your verse and the accompanying pictorial. Your shadows, each, a dream waiting to be descried. So very cool here in your shadows. Love, Reg |
