Like an approaching storm from the East it came
And in the blink of an eye I was swallowed in darkness.
Deafening thunder bellowed angry hammers in my ears
While lightening flashes took pictures of the change;
This mind of mine was drowning in a painful comfort,
Tears washing away dried blood of the past,
Then the West winds blew in serenity
Leaving behind auburn streaks in blue skies--
The remnants of a man who has learned to love himself.

you have always been my friend, sweet shadow, and have helped me a great deal in my growth; with your encourgement and your own fantastic pennings, I have been able to appreciate you more than you know. thank you as a friend, and I hope we remain that way.
