Dearest Shelby:

So now I hear that you will wear
a pink and purple horseshoe.

I've always thought little girls looked great
(at least until tomboy stage, at aged 8)
in pastel pink and passionate purple.

May you have a speedy recovery,
and get out to a barn and ride
flashing shiny silver horseshoes,
on a fancy prancy pony.

It doesn't even have to be called
Wildfire.
