I'll dedicate this little thing to Paul and his family....Believe it or not it does sing. These gifts from my bloodline are all that I need when the road home seems blocked and good times look bleak. Somehow I will turn a path I will find through the mist and the suffering there's a peace I define. Through the grief and distraction past christians and liars I've pressed on through all things I battled the fires. But I can still learn and faith I will find when the cloud covered mountains seem so hard to climb. Now my body is my castle my spirit is the moat I'll circle my children like a soldier of hope Now the road to recovery might seem weary and long some of the old things wasted and gone But the morals of all greatness are restored in the times when gifts from Saint Selfless are friends truly mine Now my body is my castle my spirit is the moat I'll circle my children like a soldier of hope |
