What shape will your words take As your soul speaks to mine? Will you whisper soft With hidden intent Layer upon layer written into each line? Or will your beauty unfold As a morning glory at dawn Spreading your petals slowly Until you reveal all? Perhaps you are most bold Strident in purpose Parading about in protest Raising a tempestuous ruckus How shall your words flow As emotions bleed upon paper? With the gentle babbling of a brook Or the rolling roar of the ocean? It matters not The tone, the style, the pace Only that the words fall from your heart To be caught by mine. s.a.t. Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
