What happens when that burning desire isn't shared
when young lovers hold back on what others dare
to examine the limits of their wondrous embrace
while others seek to fit selfish love in their rat race...

Just being realistic, my friend Mr Ideal
your quest for shared love, far from real..
has not been my conscious prize,
that dreams have had me more satisfied.
I have had to work for affection...
my mind turned off on falsehood,
my cheek has faced an opposite direction.

The once kindled love still flickers
some couples embrace first, then bicker
this young lover has matured
I am no more naive in romantic undertakings
tired of the monotony of the same making
asked to share love that is poorly returned
love's tenderness, reached its score
in its sojourn...

Sometimes, love only swims in the shallow end of the pool.

yes indeed, love doesn't mind giving, but when not returned, it can become very sad

Thanks all It is sad Lee when love isn't returned or spurned...today I realize there are people who just don't know how to share, let alone refuse to give and take...
