Amongst rags a dove with a broken wing has nestled Laying in a painful way The dove has been left for dead Its heart no longer beats, love has fallen This angelic creature just stares at the feet that walk over it Hope has left this beauty, and pain presses against her mind Innocence stolen, but not gone Unseen beauty buried deep with in Her wings attached to her soul Words no longer slip out of her mouth It has just become pain filled sobs Her hearing has intensified and words of hurt are heard clearer How can the world just pass her by? A fellow heart in need I would help her if I could But what could I do Seeing as how I am just another dove with broken wings Tomorrow comes for those who fear it. |

Doves are resilient in their destiny...broken wings take care...and the most wonderful healing can occur. Sometimes duet is the best medicine. TD |
