In Stitches Going to stitch myself a man fill him weighted down tall and slim and arms that reach and rest upon me 'round Fabric to my liking a softened smile to view solutioned to my loneliness perhaps he'll look like you When evening comes he'll be right there beside me for a drink of wine remembrance, to toast the night and end it with a wink Awakened by these thoughts for now and needed to release otherwise my mind won't rest in moment's need of peace... Stitching comes to me with ease will join this he to be and maybe then a night's return to peaceful sleeping me. all night long this man came into view...not sure if it has to do with all the Halloween scarecrows all over the place... or the fact I have been sewing... but I have always loved the "weight" around or against me at night and for some reason after all this time, I am feeling the need for it...what better way? In fact if I want to hear words from him that I can't receive elsewhere I may even put a tape inside him... "sick me" huh? M * I need to go back to bed..too early to be up on a Sunday when nothing awaits me |

actually, I found that putting a ticking clock inside one of those body pillows works quite nicely...er, e mail for other specifics. Who says we can't make do? *snort* I put a heat pad in a pillow once. Poor Bob. He died two summers ago. (somebody make me go to bed?) |
