The Canvas
"Since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other,
and each of us needs all the others."  Rom. 12:5b (NLT)

Lamentations quelled
by the bliss of this rising sun
raining hues of amber, of crimson,
and of effervescent gold
through lofty prisms
principled in their place
upon His canvas.

His message found
beyond brushstrokes
in the depth of His disciples
and hidden upon the breast
of those lamenting and lost.

All have been found
upon His living canvas
liberated by the rising sun
and dancing within the prism
of His effervescent light.

Shall you seek Him?
Shall you seek yourself?

I have found purpose,
I have found love,
I have found myself,
and I have found us.

I have found Him,
there upon the canvas
living, breathing,
not yet still.

His strokes unending
end of one begins the other
tethered together in purpose.

His works yet undone speak to me:
"Remember Me.  I am the I AM.
Take up your brush and begin
where your brother ends.
This river without rain is shallow."

And so it rained today,
from the well of an unworthy eye
as I swallowed the truth from
His wanting sky.

Such impressions now seared
upon my spirit,
upon my heart,
and upon my purposed soul...

Through the prism
of a principled man
in His place
and of His people united.

Without the sun
shall there be light?

Without discipleship
shall there be fellowship?

Without faith
shall there be salvation?

Without resolve
shall there be unity?

Without the cloud
shall there be hues
of amber, of crimson,
and of effervescent gold?

one lacking the other
leaves this canvas...

Blank.

Excellent, Kevin.  It brought back many memories of an act, given with unconditional love.

You'd better seek....if you don't go find him, he'll come looking for you...and that's never the way you want that meeting to go!

Kevin,
It read as if it were painted stroke by stroke on canvas with colors of eternal love and hope. A gift of testimony to the truth of salvation. Both given and received in peace and tranquility. God bless the giver.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

I saw the name and knew it was going to be grand.  I am new to your works as I took an extended leave from here due to work myself, but it only took one to know that you have gold ink in your pen.

This one is no exception only you laced the gold with liquid jewels of wisdom and inspiration.  We can all use a dose of that now and then.  Exceptional write with much inspire and awareness laced thoughout.  I very nice read indeed.   Welcome back also.

Kev, I read this yesterday and printed it out to take in a bit better and read out loud.  I envy you this feeling inside of you and that is about all I can even say, except you wrote it well.  You are a fortunate man.
