Love and Adore

I'm on my way,
it's a quarter until three,
oh I just missed
my honeys call for me.
She better not be
saying "later gater"
or I'll be madder
than a coon dog,
she'll be running
up a tree, trying
real hard to get
away from me,
because she promised
we'd meet at three.
Better check the
message she left
for me, she said
she's a little sad
and she misses me,
and now she's saying
pick her up at four,
instead of at three.
Well that's alright,
there's little difference
between three and four,
I can wait another hour
to be with the woman
that I love and adore.
