A MOTHER’S LOVE (Karen Unruh-Wahrer and Robbie Unruh) The tragedy of senseless War Was brought back Home two-fold Showing the pain inside a Heart Sometimes, impossible to hold. A family learned of the Death Of a loved one, Son and Brother And the news, just strengthened Bonds Between this Son and His Mother. She had said, "War takes Soldiers, and those Soldiers come from Families." But, Her Death only compounds Those awful Wartime tragedies. It’s said, "She died from a broken Heart." But, just wonder if She knew That Robbie needed Her Up There And did, what a Mother would do? In either case, They are together And She knows, They understand And though in pain, the Family knows They are walking Up There, hand in hand. Del "Abe" Jones |
