The Touch of You

I remember the touch of you
A finger brushing my skin with feather lightness
Arms that wrapped around my contentment
Thighs that pulled like an undertow beneath folds of linen
Hands that clasped like a warm gripping vice

The feel of you is in my eyes.
A visual sense, a sensual vision
A dream of reality, a fantasy of truth

Memories are bathed in sensual pools of completeness
And snuggled in infant wraps of tranquility
By day, the breeze caresses my yearning
And by night soft sheets stroke my solitude

But remembering is not the same as living the feel
I ache for the touch of you
I long to live the tenderness that glides
so swiftly through my mind
I want my skin to shiver in the heat of bonding
And my face to sweat in the cold of nakedness
I want to be carried by ocean streams
And caressed by soothing foam
I want to churn in the waves
and rock to the rhythms of moving waters

I am lured by desirous thoughts
And pulled by umbilical threads of joy
And yet, time wants me to forget

But love has given birth to need
And my skin still remembers its newborn cradle
And longs to be laid again in its warmth

Let it glide once more in ethereal
heights of pleasure
Let it be immersed in liquid
depths of ecstasy
Let it feel the feather light stroke of a finger
The pressing warmth of manly weight
The comforting refuge of enfolding flesh
The tenderness of caring
The gentleness of admiration
The openness of truth
The sincerity of love
The touch of you

The infinite and exquisite
touch of you

The touch of you is too, too sweet...
I certainly enjoyed our three way conversation, Liz...
