I brought my toys
to your gun fight
you wore neon stockings
and a whip with happy face tails

we played cowboys and martians
in the wading pool
and sipped caramel
from the candy apple machine

you said size didn't matter
when I bought you a lollie-pop
but you lied and licked mine too
when I was looking for heaven

we hid in the shears there
by your window kingdom
and the tiptoe birds whispered
with rubber bands on their beaks

you were a candy coated wonder woman
with velcro on your thigh boots
my mind was just a jeweled pony
named mush with brown sugar

but you called me ranger lumbus

DS...there used to be a Pawn Shop down in Gulfport Ms. that used to advertise on TV all the time...he would dress up like the Lone Ranger...hat and mask etc....Used to call himself the "Loan-Arranger".....
