You said you would be there when I needed you You said no matter what was going on I could call you I cried your name and got no answer I cried out for help and still no reply It’s not that you’re ignoring my pleas It’s I have seen you happy for the first time Your world looks so complete Your face smiles like never before Who am I to bring you down Who am I to share my pain with you It is true I am your friend And that's why I sit in silence It's not the blindfold that blinds you, |

Sad yes, but you are right, sometimes to remain in silence is the greatest gift of true unconditional love and friendship. The skies will brighten. Well written and meaningful. Love, Margherita |

It is hard - silence. The word sounds so soft, but in truth, it often screams. I am sorry for this - Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

perception can be a tricky thing.... and its amazing how many variations there are in a smile... dont ever assume just keep trying...keep pushing through... no one is ever too happy to help a friend this hurts buddy, good to see you write it out. |

Sometimes writing it out makes more sense later. When things are back to normal. I hate emotional rollercoaster rides But it's strange how some of the best poetry comes either from the depths of despair or the emotional highs. Thank you all for replying to my poem. (Needed it) |
