Earlier today something happened.
I don’t know what happened.
But it must have happened
Because it was the tenth second
Of the tenth minute
Of the tenth hour
Of the tenth day
Of the tenth month
Of the tenth year
After the tenth anniversary
Of 1984.
In other words
It was ten ten ten ten ten!
Why didn’t somebody
Tell me about this?
Why didn’t somebody wake me up, or something?
With all those numbers,
All lined up like that,
Something must have happened.
I don’t know what …
But SOMETHING … …
Things are happening all the time.
All kinds of things are happening.
In fact, all kinds of things are happening all the time.
In fact,
Things, all kinds of things
Are happening all over the place
All at the same time, everywhere!
In fact,
Something is happening even right now!
Although I don’t what it is …
Something …

And ten and ten
And ten and ten is fifty.
(Oops, I screwed up, it’s forty)
And one less than a thousand
Is nine nine nine,
A multiple of which is six six six!
The sign of the great monster,
The mark of the Beast.
This event will not occur again
In seven hundred and seventy-seven years.
Something is going to happen,
Or maybe has already happened,
Or maybe is already happening right now.
Why didn’t somebody wake me up …
To tell me
That something was going to happen? ..
Or maybe already happened, or maybe …
O dear, O dear …
