Red Dress Dancing by Anna Oneglia - quote by Anne Lamott

* * *

Dancing wildly

* * *

Being an autumn leaf
won’t keep me
from dancing wildly
in the golden sparks
of your eyes.

Can you hear
my cheerful laughter
while I delight
in my freedom
to be in love and alive?

This day calls
and knocks at my door,
I won’t hide inside,
even if no one might care,
but the glorious Sun.

I will play then,
capturing the light
storing it for the night,
when cold fingers might reach
through the dark.

Not yet, no!
I will interpret
the colours of the Fall
and you will turn to me,
I know.

One more time … my Love,
together we shall sing
our tune of passion,
while the fruits’ ripeness
wraps us in its fragrance.

And in a golden embrace
we shall celebrate the season,
moving in supreme harmony
and merging into one,
in love’s sacred dance.

Love, Margherita

My dear poet friends, thank you for telling me you enjoyed this dance.
It is always time to dance in joy, even in Autumn ... we can imitate the colored leaves which always touch my heart when I see them in their duet with the breeze.
One partner never denies us a dance ... LOVE.

Wishing all of you a beautiful October Sunday ... may you perceive the beauty in others and in Nature.
Love and hugs.
Margherita

OhMyFriend~
How 'right' this is for my eyes this day~
Last evening Bill and I attended his Class Reunion ... danced ... if not 'wildly' ...
then at least with loving abandon~

How happy this feels to my heart this day~
