One wish fluted pink within its shimmer
Clean and new intoxication’s gentle glimmer
Bathing blood in opal clouds
Delight expounds desires simmer

White the Johnny jump up carpet blooms
Sensitive the thin skinned crocus swoons
This once, succumbed a feeling in a solar breath
Making note the way to wear my heart yet scared to death

And laughter’s echo trims the deep green romp
Summoning in hidden thicket, flourishing in moistened swamp
The air grows thin, dizzied out then in
Lemon reasons marigold treasons starch and stomp

In silken looks upon the opiate of summer’s flower
Bending to the touch so slowly motioned every hour
Tenderly exploring just beneath the lace of white
Beaming to perfection every charter taken flight

Sweet the afterglow of gardens given name
Crystal clear the colors deepen given wild to tame
Lily brushed the canvas plays your body of a splendid light
Appeals my eyes the satin blue of every star struck night

I like the whole poem, but that was my favorite. Nice imagery, interesting ponderings.

I am clueless where you come up with such
descriptive lines,  so much imagery,  a
most vivid painting...nicely done kiddo.

Kathleen~

'One wish fluted pink within its shimmer'

You opened with a 'killer' line ... and it just got better and better~
Your word-palette is rich with the colors of romantic thoughts dear poetess~

Kathleen, I know I've told you many times,
but I do love your writing, Lady. Your
poems are always written with perfection.
Hugs,
Ethel

Now this is poetry.  Unique expressions loaded down in some really awesome lines.

Love the metaphors, the use of nature to express your thoughts, and with lemons and marigolds, how could one miss.  Lot's of emotion and you could almost feel the passion in this write.  Loved it and well worth the read.
