How many times I took my mouse
and clicked on the window's screen
to open worlds that aren't mine
and where I've never been

How close Australia looks to me
On a 17 inch display
I smell flowers so colorful
from Florida almost every day

I felt the wind of hurricanes
blowing through my hair
I saw the dammage left behind
but only had my heart to share

I've seen your happiness and sorrow
through many words penned down in rhyme
But... does it matter we've never met
we still became good friends in time

I weep when you feel pain, you know
I'm proud when you achieve a goal
I feel like a godmother to a little
new born living soul

How many times I've clicked my mouse
to watch the blue page screen
Feeling love and friendship flow
to me, from people I've never seen

And when I go to bed at night
I create my world in dreams
You're only just one click away
much closer than it really seems

Thank you for showing me your world
for letting me come close to you
And yes I even saw Balladeer
miss that hole on green fields too

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

You are a treasure, a beating heart that is heard across oceans and mountains.
No, it doesn't matter one bit to me, though I sure wish I could have met you in Florida when you made that historic visit.

I was robbed!!

Other than that, you are so right, Titia. This little box with its infernal mouse has opened up new worlds for us in so many ways. For example I got to meet a dutchie half a world away that I would have never known existed had it not been for cyberspace...likewise people from England, Austrailia and New Zealand.

It's a wonderful time to be alive...

Liebe Titia, die Waerme Deines Herzens strahlt durch den Monitor!

You put your heart in this and across the world it is felt.

And I agree with Balladeer when he says "it's a wonderful time to be alive" ... may the e-world cancel the borders and induce people to realize that we are One ... when we truly awaken to this awareness we can profit from our worldwide connections to MAKE PEACE.

It was nice to meet you ... on a soul level.
For the rest, we can still dream ....

Beautiful!
Love, Margherita

TitiaLove~
It matters to me that we heart-met~

I see you in the meadow,
hear you in the whistle of the train
As the memories return
and I hug you once again~

I think of you when photographing
the flowers that you love so much
and most of all ... I recall
your arms surrounding me in loving touch~

Remembering ... remembering~

Thank you for this ... today~
I needed it ... oh, so much~

There have been many posts in tribute to these blue pages and some of the poets here, but I do believe this one encompasses the best of the best and says it better than I have read.  Such a beautiful way to express what we all have come to know, and you are larger than life and I for one have always enjoyed having you around in here.  I may be gone for periods of time due to life situations, but some names you just look for and YOU are one of those names.  So nice to see your name here.  I enjoyed much this visit.

Titia darling heart sister, loving hugs to you from me, I’ll always recall your face, your smile, and your loving touch here within my heart.

I also hold a precious memory of your face when you confessed about the ice cream to Krissy. *S it was a hoot, wasn’t it?

As for this delightful poem darling one, it is exceptional, just as you are. I have some news for you, I’ll send you a note I promise

Speak soon, keep smiling sweet one, for your smile warms my soul

Love and warm stuff
as always

Midnitesun, thanks and who knows, there's still time, if only I had more money in my purse, bless you my friend.

Balladeer, robbed by a groundhog It was such a pleasure meeting you, I hold dear memories of time spend in Florida.

Maree, you were so close to meet my daughter this last Spring and yes, I'm pouting too because I too want to meet them all.

Margherita, Du bisst von Deutschland?? oder wohnst Du irgendwo anders und spreche Sie Deutsch. And you are so right, let poets rule the world and there will be peace.

Marge, you know I hold you very close to heart my friend and thanks for your lovely words. Hold on to those memories, they're all we got for the time being.

Mark, you make me blush at my old age, didn't know I'm one of your favorites. Returning the compliment my friend, enjoying your poetry too, though you hardly see my name in the replies, don't always have the time to read and reply.

Marsha dear, even seeing your 'pink' makes me smile again in good memory. I recall eating the 'wrong' icecream, but it happened to be my favorite too

Wish we could all be together again, it's been three years already, how time flies.

Hugs to you all, Titia
