Am I Blue

In her room a piano player
is playing her favorite tune.
A guitar player strums in,
Leonaro begins playing
his painted violin.
With hardly no effort
at all a pretty woman is
singing just like Bacall.
She's a fancy dresser,
nice to the eyes.
The words of her song
providing me with
a lush surprise.
"I better go." I said, even
though she was a delight.
"Baby, why go, when
you can spend the night,
and if you say no, we'll
have our first fight, but
if you say yes, you're in
for lots of kisses tonite."

Diplomacy, a tricky process! Fun write James.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
