Standing In Silence...

I have to fight it,
I have to hide it,
This growing sadness-
Deep inside-
‘Cuz if I don’t,
Then everyone will see
How weak
I really am
When you’re not with me.
I gotta quell this-
Burning pain-
From being away-
From you again.
But I just can’t help it,
I can’t seem
To stop it,
To make it go away.

You need to come back,
And put me back together,
‘Cuz I’m falling to pieces,
When you’re not here,
When you’re not around-
To dry all these tears,
That just keep falling
And falling…falling…
Down on me again
Like never-ending rain.
Just help me be strong,
Help me keep my mind,
I’m slowly getting lonely,
You’ve been gone too long,
So come back,
And be my strength.
Come back and love me.
Please?....

i saw your name and had to read it. Ive been a fan of all your poems for a while, but have been a distant admirer and dont comment usually.

but as soon as i read this I had to say something.

omg do you realise how much talent you have? if you dont its time to wake up and smell the coffee hunny!

this is the best poem I have read in a long long time. just because I felt every bit of emotion, pain and heart-break put into this.
