Dream was the coming back poem for someone who ran away - it is fictional

Dave

A dream

Feeling small looking up to fear
I see the closeness of those I dont belong to
Of love for someone to decide my meaning
Small steppes to take into my heart
When I dream of daylight
I see your eyes
And your shape
And a man who will make you happy
Or dead
yes I am running away
With nothing
And to stay here
I would have the same
There is a hill where I can see for ever
Maybe from the hill for ever and ever
To know the green grass on my feet
To be outcast elsewhere
Than my home
With tired feet I return to a long awaited hill
Where once was grass
Now I see shrub
Tired dried weeds
Burning
Throughout my travels I always knew I would find this hill
Now
I know only sorrow
And my dream

Thanks ES

Thanks Dave,  if you have time look at my response under my poem "New Dawn", it explains how I was duped and misled...and I enjoy your words very much also... E S West

I don't know why David, but while reading this, I couldn't help but ponder why is it, b/c you don't think like others, they outcast you?  This has become a strange world...and yet, it is during those times, that we're always introduced to those tremendous special ones, the ones that make it all worthwhile.

Tremendous write dear friend....

Stuff I wrote ages ago seems to have relevance now

I wrote on things I felt I could see would happen

Sadly spin and the domination of networks makes you a target you can not defend against

The concept of ethnic cleansing knowing the world will wait and watch until they are propelled by journalists to take action and slowly and little as they can

The concept that weak nations can be bullied as they have always been, but now we dress it up before we do it

The fundamental concept that we pursue the weak at all times because we lack the courage to pursue the strong, and if it didn't happen on the "Daily News", it didn't happen at all.

"I wrote on things I felt I could see would happen"

Yes, it's that "feeling" - and where else does it come from than ... the unconscious all seeing mind - I think.

Just basic

Politican lives - Politician enjoys - everone lives off them

People want to live, enjoy life but some politician can't live, if they can't get the news, if they can't!

So very, very sad, Dave.  I think I know that hill.  I'm no way versed well in poetry, but I would guess this to be excellent!   A keeper.

MG

Thanks - I suppose I use a kind of story to look at truths

Probably says more about me than words but everyone has this images, I think.

You saying you are not versed in Poetry is like a politican saying they have trouble speaking.

You dance on words and use them as you feel you should - with message.

This is absolutely beautiful, dear Dave.

Without the possibility to dream, we would be lost ... me thinks.

Love, Margherita
