"Sometimes"

more than a mist with unknown thoughts
sent my way and me flitting about
half covered in the warmth of the morning
wondering if there is magic in this day

pretending to have a song in my heart
something to believe in when those "sometimes"
reflect a sensuality waiting for you

a fragile mind and a steady hand to course my emotions
shadows of yesterday embedded within
being thankful for what is locked inside,
the silence of a Monday yet to purge...

and although the nearness of you, still words away,
sparks a twinkle in eyes that review
the "sometimes" charm that tempts and seduces
to move all my senses above and beyond,
I am still alone and watching silently
through the mist...

Maureen I know it must seem as though you are looking through a mist right now..

The mists can provide us the veils we sometimes need for reflective thought and a place for healing.
