I met my soul in shadowing
there are darker differences
I'm sure that she was unaware
shading dawn to certainties
mingled in that musk of trust
I never found it true -- I thought
that the risk of all is blue
taught
the stay of ought
is hue
maybe shape of a delay
blooming
in the rhyme today
as if I had not said enough...

Longing to be stilled I am
spilling
some brief fill of joy
I wanted to just open up
my mouth
and speak
and   yet
I want...I want.

I greet wings
on petals velt
laying bare on dreams I sang
naked as the velveteen
where they will fall
left again
under sheets of black
I grin
and times don't change
times
don't change
precise breathing of this heart
quietly
unpeeling me
the sea
will touch the forests
green
from a distant gathering
moss in cling

moss
of rock
in a blue bed blanket bled
of ashes
as
the
sky will rise
gather over silences
and bumps of hairs of my despise
itching like a day in dew
gathering the grasses
new
in a tenor of a sax...

whispering the blues to you
in your ear at dawn I am

the high note of a pink sun ray.

I have had a very extreme weekend...they always are when we hostess a state weekend for our legal professional group...so it may be that I am tired, but it may be that this poem...is my song.

And for that, my two lovely ladies, I thank you, applaud you, and you.

Now I say we just wait for the evening fog to roll in and dance on grass floor to the high notes of misted desires.

Excellent writing you two, but then again, how could it not be.  You take two of the most talented visionaries in here and strap their pens together, you get golden ink and this one shines Platinum.
