I was looking for the follow up to leaving a woman. One I wrote and buried somewhere. This isn't it but derived from it. Oasis Hood on a stick I bury to avoid the crook I am I dream of power I dream of death And redemption From sins I don’t want to think about From problems I didn’t know I caused Hiding beneath the sun I feel content With the night Comes my power My feeling of glory My desires of achievement I am taking life One day at a time To return To begin Again |

"I feel content With the night Comes my power My feeling of glory" ~ I can identify with such feelings. "I am taking life One day at a time To return To begin Again" ~ It's off with the old and on with the new in life. Once the pain is out of the way, starting over can be quite exciting! EA |

An Oasis to regroup for the continued journey- thank Heaven for the green spots in the long travels of desert sand. Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

icebox Thank you very much dave Robert Joseph Robert Yes, sometimes it works. Thanks Dave "I feel content With the night Comes my power My feeling of glory" I never thought of it as that, but yes it has an idea that is worth working out. "I am taking life One day at a time To return To begin Again" Hidden in the back of my mind was that you go back and feel betrayed because it wasn't the same as you left. How many people destroy where the live in urban, move to rural because they can't stand the urban and then destroy the rural. Dave Susan It was a stick in the sand with a canopy made from the head covering. The Oasis was somewhere to feel safe, spare yourself and concentrate your thoughs. I appreciate the feeling of life in nothing that exists despite everything, but in a way, it was your own space, and hopefully people have forgotten "body language". Dave Susan Yes and we build our own highs and lows and when we can't build either, we have trouble because we feel we lack not the control freak mentality but the control over ourselves. Dave |
