Of Doves

My mind would fly a snow-white dove
Into a sky of Angel love
Trod the rainbow in its bend
Reach the treasure at its end

Illusion taps a path for me
Blind desires ecstasy
Where shadows cannot grow in wait
And all are clear and pure in state

A land where doubtful does not live
Nor the charity of forgive
A land that is a Shangri-la
Within our soul and not so far

A place of pure naiveté
A stairway to a dreams buffet
A fife and harp in subtle goal
The music of the inner soul

God grant you touch its weightless wend
And you will never fear, the end

I wonder sometimes, if that is the way this world could in genuine reality be, if....
and that's a big big if....
Love to you sir, good morning and sending along a thankyou with hugs for these lovely thoughts.

This is light, almost ethereal. I like this one.

A land that is a Shangri-la

~*~

Your wisdom is understated...if doubtful does not live, no need for charity to forgive...and yes, yes, it IS within us...but so many won't stretch the mental muscle to reach that far...greed and envy take over...and from those, come fear, and beligerance, hate, and intolerance...

Did you think I had neglected you this day?  Truth be...I was out of the house before you posted, and then the IE was down before I clocked in...and then?  Then the day took over...but...the good thing?

Is that you can sink...but you can't hide...

Don't you just love a persistent soul?
