On starting day, I wonder what will be But in my heart I know, yet lie I know tomorrow will be the same and the next Fearless are those who have not fallen to commitment Always wanting change but not the challenge Wanting respect but not demanding Watching other paddocks grow greener While the one I tend dies Where does the drive come from? I know not Would less mean more? One life, one chance, too late, too old and over Sitting back consumed on what might have been Another twenty years will only bring more regrets And already I regret enough |
