"I don't know..."

These words fall holy from
your lips.

As if silence had a momentary
voice.

Yet nothing much to say.

And simply yearned in soundful
wonder...

To taste the mystery of
your lips.

delicate- flowing with grace- whisper soft in its beauty.

Wow, Eric!

I can see you haven't lost your magical, romantic touch.  This was beautiful.

Take care.......Sue

Oh those special phrases....don't we love 'em! In a world where "fine" means "not fine", "soon" can mean anything from "now" to "never".....well, for a fellow it means things are surely fine, or will be soon...or not....but we can console ourselves, because it's also true that "no" means "maybe", and "maybe" means "yes"!

Zen Master Katagari Roshi would often ask his students such unanswerable questions that through their confusion the only thing that they could do was shake their heads and admit "I don't know". To wish Katagari Roshi would smile and say...."good, good, keep this I don't know mind. This is Zen mind."

And we don't know...we paint pictures and mental constructs aroind what we think we know. And these are our answers to a life of mystery. The Zen mind urges for walls to fall and the mystery to be free. "We don't know"...and it's alright. Because further within...we don't need to know. We are.
And that's enough.

Just sharing.

Love,
Eric

The more I read your words, the more I AM.

".... in soundful wonder".

I love you, Zen Man and Master.

Ericc

This caught me and made me think...such a way you have of writing, that I wish to be able to say so much with so little, too!
