Hearts Becoming Silent Why waste time writing Of this endless despair I will crawl into my shell If you're no longer there As the days pass on by Having nothing penned It then became obvious Perhaps this is the end Without your inspiration I might as well be gone Having lost what I need How could I continue on You left so much unsaid Leaving me in the dark Stunned by your silence My writing lost the spark Poems without endings Are much like you and I Hearts becoming silent Neither saying goodbye Hope©2004 |
