In the fullness of spring birds twitter and fly and alight on the fauna not yet beautified content to rely on instinctive knowledge of perfection beyond the feel of today. And I know it’s alright sometimes in a life to fold into the lines of an imperfect mind and perch on the edge of a work in progress until love can blossom the fullness of me. In the excitement of a hot summer’s day children descend into rivers, pools, dams, content to thrive on repetitive dives and exult in the freedom of play. And I know it’s alright sometimes in a life to set aside my serious side and get barely wet in the shallow end and still be cool and refreshed. In the silence of night with two in a bed no cold other side exists and the exchange of pure energy happens naturally when we’re asleep. And I know it’s alright sometimes in a life to heat up a bed alone and lonely and not like but be an acquaintance of the remarkable power of one. From the fullness of spring to deadly winter, from the beginning right up to the end, it’s alright sometimes in a life to know all and everything’s always alright when from the peak of complete absolution I look back down to the ground! |

Helen There is much comfort in your words....it's alright...and yes, I believe sometimes, it is! Thank you for writing this lovely poem. |

And I know it’s alright sometimes in a life to fold into the lines of an imperfect mind and perch on the edge of a work in progress until love can blossom the fullness of me. It's more than alright, even when time passes by so slowly. In the end I hope to come away with more patience and tolerance, and just maybe all the good will come back to me. Helen, if you could read your poetry through my eyes!! |

Martie - 'tis a pleasure fair lady. Yes, I do believe "it" will all finally be alright. Bluesy - Just remember that we both belong to the sisterhood of women and we're meant to know and feel everything sometimes in a life. I'm living proof that patience and tolerance in one of the results - but not always so otherwise there'd be no spark and sparkle. |

I like this for a lot of reasons but the meaning is why I like it. Dave |
