Young Toerag asked the preacher
"Please answer if you can.
I'd really like to know if God's
A woman or a man."

The preacher said, "Well, Toerag,
You must try to understand.
God's all things to everyone.
He's a woman AND a man."

"Well, preacher", then said Toerag.
I'm sure you know what's right
But tell me then, if you don't mind,
Is my God black or white?"

"Geez, Toerag, you ask tough ones"
The preacher's eyes squeezed tight
"but God's all things to everyone.
Your God's both black and white."

"I've just got one more", small Toe said,
"and then I'll go away.
Please let me know before I go
Is my God straight or gay?"

"The answer is the same, my son.
That is the only way.
God is all things to everyone.
Our God's both straight and gay."

The preacher was amazed at
Toerag's violent reaction!
"Preacher, do you mean to say
That God is Michael Jackson?!?!?!?!?!"

Dear 'ol' Deer, you never stop amazing me and it's so good to see you writing again.
Doldrum city is a good place to stay for a while, but I'm glad you popped out to share this beauty. Poor Toe, he must have had nightmares, I'm sure
