Seeing her,
did nothing for child-adult transition.

And since
I have found
keeping friendly voices low
across the room

is the only way to drift tonight

tv's and lamps

do not keep
awake

haunted eyes

but hush them to close

and sleep.
I think

I know her name
and purpose

yet
is still not familiar
to shocked nerves
                  ~ disbelieving eyes

or tingle-skin connections
she drives
into my room
from time to time.

She made me look

shifting her shadow across
a room of such energies

muted

shining along the white wash

I never investigate
I never investigate

but I found her

nonetheless.

Thanks for the lovely compliments! Very much appreciate you reading.

aujussy wolf, it's all about a paranormal experience I had a month ago. Simple as that, but confusing for readers I'm sure!

P.s - woah! that picture is really IN-YOUR-FACE! I don't think i took into consideration how close up it was! You can even see a big spot on my chin!

Have had such experiences ....

my parents farmhouse has a headless shadow of a passed relative that comes and goes as it pleases. usually slamming a door or two as it goes.

We try not to see but they do not want to be forgotten!

               Haunting and beautiful .... you!
