Angles in America With medical concerns Band-aids sob Staring down empty streets Holding bread knives Terror in small towns Wiping liquor off their chins Practicing safe sex Through the mind of Dr. Jones Scraping plates of victims Infested with dark omens Charging heartless rent To move far away Where no body goes and everyone turns from! Callousness laughs Holding tourniquets Teeth dripping with dead Ohhh pain kits of maniacs Pressing against bare breasts Of paper dolls & long forgotten photographs The creature hums plaintive melodies For a mate of the evening Shrouded in darkness Skeletal fingers inviting A thousand times 10 Who knows the last? The waiting arms of black crepe Pressing hard against the door of salesmen Forgetting to look both ways Feeling broken glass of hot leaping love Which leaps from place to place to place Emotional blackmail throwing stones Sounds playing pool in mud rooms Dried blood blurring images Straight jacket death march Cynical artists sharing birth marks Driving us to a sinful prom One of which we’ve never been A story about AIDS |

The only word that comes to mind is "awesome". Perhaps could more aptly refer to "Africa" but is certainly world wide. |
