I once was a shining whole
But I shattered into fractions,
~ Full of disappointments
And life's dissatisfactions.

At times the ledgers balanced,
Then at others they did not.
Some brimmed with happiness,
And others rife with fraught.

Whenever I thought in negatives,
Things grew from bad to worse.
~ Until I thought in positives,
And discarded the perverse.

I've long since integrated,
Myself back to a whole.
I look at all the good in life
~ Adding Light to my soul!
