Visions I had a vision of my wedding flowers, family and violins abound my apparition gaze turns and down the aisle walks a vision of white in your eyes my future blooms like the petals in your bouquet like the petal soft heart that I keep under my pillow at night next to this ring I had a vision that we lived happily ever after without a worry in our minds without a burden on our backs as we sleep under these suede skies I kiss your eyes touch your shoulder I see a vision of our child’s birth locked inside the fire between us and the key on the nightstand we reach for with one thought with one heart soon you’re carrying such precious life to bless the world bless a brittle autumn day in this dream come true I lose myself with these hands within this man I hold a home for us within this vision I hold my family close to myself tonight as my daughter sleeps in my arms I watch her face in the firelight dancing shadows fluttering eyelids dreaming, seeing her visions taking her down some rose petal aisle to see her dreams come true "Poets are all who love, who feel great truths, and tell them; and the truth of truths is love." --Philip James Bailey |

What lovely visions - Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Please finish the poem. Yes I like it but finished it, you have left something missing. Dave |
