There's a sprinkling of them that still resonates, draining the overworked grass unsightly and scraggly now, call them as such; but I prefer to celebrate their feistiness, you see, as i place myself strategically among them, we wear eachother's clothes, to each a mirror, for better and for the not so fair, as i wonder if they still retain their potentcy and if one could squeeze out just another wish or two and blow one breathless on a quest for love; and am I (still potent ) to you, my friend? do I still intoxicate though you've seen the inner sinews to my pretty faced apparition? and should I care at all if you choose now to reject me, as if you yourself bear no ugliness on days when doubt and hesitation take possession of your demeanor? I prefer to think it such as I may be wretched as the stench of garbage on an august heatwave, but still I reek as potent and as magical as the dandelion is relentless, and for now, whether you stay the course of me or run to safer diversions, I can only give testimony to the girl that only i will ever know and understand, without any second guessings or misconceptions at the trappings of typed vowels and consonants. . and should i care at all if you choose now to reject me, as if you yourself bear no ugliness on days when doubt and hesitation take precedence of your demeanor? You say so much of what I feel at times, but can never find the words. Thanks for this, I think I'll send it to him, not that he would recognize himself. Big hugs, goldielocks~ How do you like that one? |

and should I care at all if you choose now to reject me, as if you yourself bear no ugliness on days when doubt and hesitation take possession of your demeanor? this poem was tremendous, especially this If someone rejects us, then we should let it be, forgiving but not keeping count and pointing fingers, just allowing what is In the long run, the rejection becomes us in our favor and wraps us in the arms of great and wise fate...we're better for it. Wonderful write! |
