For Today … I Want To Be ~*Grandma Poet*~  ~*Poet*~ says that I can be anything my little heart desires So for today I think that I will don a prissy tutu setting the dance world afire~ In dizzy-girlie pirouettes I’ll twirl and swirl in soft abound until my tiny feet are tired of spinning round and round~ ~*Poet*~ will smile (she always does) applauding with such glee I’ll whirl and prance my little ballerina dance with a teensy ~Oopsie~ or three~ ~Each day little Delaney lets us know just what she wants to be for the day~ ~Today, a ballerina ... tomorrow ... and tomorrow ... and tomorrow the dreams change... just as little girls are destined to do~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, the spirit rejoices over what it has left. - Sufi epigram <))>< Email [email protected] |
